He’s in a lot of pain and has been pretty uncomfortable, but we are grateful he’s more alert. It’s going to be a very long recovery. Thank you for your continued prayers. Leah

4/2 SHANDER: Please pray for our friend Debbie, she has been hospitalized for the last 3 weeks, after a simple carpal tunnel surgical procedure, it has been a very long road, she has since, due to infection, had to have two different surgeries to remove part of her colon and gallbladder, her kidneys are not functioning and is on dialysis. 3/29 MILD: Well, Bob has gotten through another surgery. They opened the incision and cleaned out the infection. They placed a drain from the wound. The doctor did a consultation with the infectious doctor in Pittsburgh today. They changed the antibiotic that Bob was on…, I hope the worst is over. The doctor said he might go home tomorrow but I’m not so sure. Thanks again for your faithful prayers that upheld us through another day, Carolyn
3/28 HUTCHINSON: Thanks for the prayer our buddy Jake is home. They did some med changes. Please keep this little guy in your prayers that he will keep improving.. thanks Ashley
3/28 MILD: Please lift Bob up this morning that they can contain the infection and find the appropriate antibiotic as the incision is very swelled and has a boil-like top on it. They have already drained it in his room. Now they are taking him to surgery as it has filled up again. This is very serious. His leg could be danger as well as the possibility that he could develop sepsis if this infection is not contained very soon. It’s almost been a week with this in his body and he is getting very discouraged. His knee implant is right between two of the incisions and could also get an infected. Please pray for God to guide the doctors, that the type of infection is identified very soon and the right antibiotic be found, and that God will bring total healing to this leg. I need prayer as well as I have been sick this week. Thanks, Carolyn

They are keeping Bob in Farrell Hospital because they think he has an infection in his leg. They are doing tests and pumping him full of antibiotics. Please keep both of us in prayer as I am not feeling well and have developed a bad cold on top of this. Carolyn

3/13 MILD: Bob was in surgery for over 4 hours Monday He didn’t get to his room in ICU until after 9 pm. The doctor told us he would probably be in the hospital till the weekend. The doctor thought a blocked stent was causing the leg/foot issue but when they operated, they found that there was a blockage below the stent. The stent then became blocked resulting in almost no blood getting to his left foot putting it in danger. They used a vein from his thigh and did a vascular bypass from above the knee to below the knee. Today, the foot is pink and warm which is very good news! He was supposed to be moved out of ICU tonight but was not. One of the doctors that checked him today said there is possibility of him going home Thursday but it depends on how he is progressing from the surgery and being able to walk on the foot.

12/19 ZIPPIE: Trinity was not breathing at all on her own today and had to have oxygen “bagged” three times this morning; however, this afternoon, she actually responded a number of times to our principal and teacher by squeezing their hands and took a breath over the ventilator. 12/1 WIESEN: Hey church family it was so good to be home and see you all last week! I wanted to ask for prayers for students I reach out to at Penn state Altoona! We have been reaching many students who are not followers of Christ! I would like to ask for God to continue softening their hearts to hear and accept the truth of the Gospel! Please pray that as we continue to reach students like Mikel, Dominic, Maliek, Micheal, Ryan, Brandon, Jimmy, Logan, JD, Pam, Erin, Hannah, Jeremias, Myra, Butch, Timmy, Lille, Olivia, Alyssa, Aly, Clay, Gabe, Matt and many of other students that we have interacted with this semester who are looking into Christianity but who are not followers. Praise God for the students who surrendered their lives to God already this semester Brady, Nick, and Joel! Please pray for them as they dive deeper into their relationship with the Lord. Also I ask for prayers for me as I work on support raising over the next month and a half that God will provide the funds I need to continue doing ministry. Please pray for next Monday as all the fellows (interns) with the cco which is what I am go On a silence and solidarity retreat to process this past semester and discearn if this is where God is calling us or not. Also pray that with that that we would get to our full monthly support so that if we choose we want to stay with the cco that the cco will hire us to stay on they have informed us that many of us won’t be asked to stay on that includes me if we don’t get our monthly support up. So please pray for that! Thank you so much for your prayers. Ray

Becky
11/28 SPEARS: Follow up about Dakota Miller, 12 months old in regards to a nail gun. We have to share with everyone that this request came through Facebook and actually used people’s names that were familiar to one another. One cannot believe how cruel spirited people can be. It turned out that this was a “hoax”!! Our son said he would never confer about a prayer request in this manner again unless he knew it was factual. Knew you would want to know. Evelyn & Jim
