Director of Student Ministries
I graduated from Grove City College in 2013 with a degree in Biblical and Religious Studies. I have been involved in the area through Young Life since March of 2010. I enjoy people, naps, food, drinking coffee, and playing sports. Any sports. Really, any sports. Above all, I have been made alive by Jesus and enjoy working to make him known.

Penny Kraynak

Director of Music
I have a music degree from Westminster College and have served in some capacity in the music ministry here at Covenant all my life.
Having grown up in Covenant Church, music has always played a key role in the worship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and in my personal growth and fellowship with Him. Covenant Church has always been blessed with a great music ministry and a special fellowship and bond within that ministry that unites the various singers and instrumentalists together as they lead in worship. We strive to keep everything ‘Christ-centered’ in all that we do and in the various forms and styles that we use. God has truly blessed us with amazing talent and with the united deep love and desire of serving Him. I am married to my wonderful husband, George, and we are blessed with two married sons and four terrific grandchildren!

I have lived in the valley most of my life. Coming from a large family of seven girls, I have cared for and dealt with children early on in my life. I believe this is where God has led me for right now.
I raised my family while running a daycare and volunteered in school and extra curricular activities in which my children were participating. After my family was raised I felt led back to Covenant and the former Kiddie Korner Preschool program which brings me full circle to the nursery.
I love caring and nurturing children and families. Sharing information from  my experiences with both God and families. I am still learning!

Samantha Rainey

Director of Summer’s Best 2 Weeks
I grew up in Sharon and have been attending Covenant Presbyterian Church with my family for the majority of my life.  I participated in the communicant’s class during my 8th grade year to become a member of the church.  In 2007, I graduated from Sharon Middle/High School and then went on to receive my Mathematics Secondary Education at Grove City College in 2011.  I am a mathematics teacher at Kennedy Catholic High School and am reminded everyday of my passion to help children learn, grow, and become strong Christian men and women.
