Camp 3C exists to make Jesus known in a safe, fun, supportive environment and connect all to a larger Christian community.  
 
Important camp dates:
  • orientation – June 7th
  • camp – June 9 – 13th (8am – 4:30 for the student staff)

 

Staff will be selected because of their love for Christ, love for kids, and ability to teach and/or serve others.  All staff members are expected to be on time and be available for every day of camp.  The specific responsibilities, based upon camp staff role, include, but are not limited to those listed below.

 
SIDEKICK (min. completion of 9th grade) – Responsible to squad/elective leader as assigned and to camp directors.
  • Attend camp daily from 7:45am to 4:30pm
  • Demonstrate respect for campers, other staff, and directors.
  • Greet campers as they arrive.
  • Attend opening assembly with campers.
  • Eat lunch with your campers.
  • Be willing and available to talk to your campers about Jesus.
  • Encourage and affirm the campers.
  • Pray for your campers.
  • Help squad and elective leaders at all activities
  • Help all leaders consistently and effectively enforce camp rules.
  • Spend personal time with God outside of camp.
  • Exemplify JOY (Jesus, Others, Yourself) in all you do and display an attitude of service.



STEWARD (min. completion of 7th grade)– Responsible to and for all tasks set by camp directors.

  • Attend camp daily from 7:45am to 4:30pm.
  • Demonstrate respect for campers, other staff, and directors.
  • Greet campers as they arrive.
  • Help prep and set up for elective activities.
  • Prepare and refrigerate juice for lunch and set up lunch tables.
  • Make lunches for any campers who may have forgotten one.
  • Clean up and put away equipment at the end of elective activities as directed by elective leaders.
  • Clean up the lunchroom and kitchen following lunch.
  • Clean or tidy other areas used for camp.
  • Exemplify JOY (Jesus, Others, Yourself) in all you do and display an attitude of service.
