Middle School Summer 2021
All of our events this summer revolve around our ministry core values of being grounded and connected for impact.
For a simplified version, just know there is something for you every Wednesday and Friday with special events on Saturdays.
GROUNDED-these events are designed to ground your students in God’s Word and so are focused on leaders diving deep with students into spiritual topics.
Lunch and Learn. Fridays, noon to 1pm at the park. Want to feed your appetite for food and for God? Join us for a Bible study where we learn not just about God’s Word but how to study it on our own. We’ll meet starting July 9 and go through Aug 20.
CONNECTED-these events are designed to connect your students with one another and with their leaders in fun and engaging ways. These are great events to invite newcomers to!
Summer Kick-Off. Saturday, July 3rd, 6 to 9pm. Join us at the Weese abode for a party at their backyard pool and basketball court. Good times just waiting to happen…bring a snack to share!
Backyard Bash. Wednesday, July 7, 28, Aug 11, 7-8:30pm. fun, frisbee, flailing, free time…this is all good because it starts with the same letter. All this and more as you join us at the home of one of our church members (locations tbd) and enjoy the good times. The Wednesdays in between are family events for you and the whole family…see our family ministries page for more info.
Presque Isle Trip. Saturday, Aug 21, 10:30am to 9pm. Finish out the summer with a fun, chill time on the beach. Be ready to celebrate each other and all God has done in our lives this summer

IMPACT-these events are designed to move your student beyond themselves to serve our church, our city, and our country
Pittsburgh Mission Trip. July 30-Aug 1. Join the Pittsburgh Project for a life-changing weekend of service. More info here…https://www.covenantsharon.org/mg-pittsburgh/
Serve Sharon Sunday. Sunday, Aug 15. Noon to 4pm. A chance to take our mission trip experience to serve our own city.
