Free community lunch program at St. John’s Episcopal Church

We sponsor the 2nd Saturday of each month from 11 to 1 where we cook and serve meals. We cook the Thursday prior to the second Saturday at 5pm in our kitchen at Covenant. Then, on Saturday we transport the food to St. John’s and serve the community. Feel free to join us on Thursday or Saturday.

Thursday, before the 2nd Saturday, in Covenant’s kitchen:

5:00 to 7:00 approximately – prepare food for Saturday meal

2nd Saturday of the month:

8:45 – 9:30 transport food from Covenant to St. John’s

9:15-10:45 prep food and beverages

10:30 – 1:00 serve

11:00 – 1:00 interact with diners in dining room

11:00 – 2:00 wash dishes

12:45 – 2:00 clean-up, return dishes and misc. to Covenant, and drop-off leftovers to Joshua’s Haven
